Religion and Faith
.....are two different things. One should not be confused with the other.
Do you know the story of the bonhommes a.k.a. Cathars?
They believed in a God who lives in everyone and denounced the church as a divine representative on earth.
Failing to follow the ways of the roman catholic church they ended up at mont Segur.
They were left by their perscutors to abolish their belief or be burned alive.
More than two hundred and fifteen chose their belief above the Pope's threaths.
They perished....
Humans are mostly about power.
We live in constant fear of losing it.
Religions are organised very much along these lines
in their strive to maintain pawer over their followers
they introduce rules and measures.
Along the way fear becomes their God.
Faith is a private emotion
a realisation of the divine aspect in ones life
It teaches love and respect
and does not want to rule....
Love
is what may come after falling in love.
it has no apparent reason biologically .
Still, it is a wonderful feeling that cannot be explained, only experienced....
And yes, there are many kinds of love
for many kinds of subjects.
You cannot truly love someone without
loving your Self as it is.
True love is focused outwards
it brings with it the urge to care and preserve.
Love is the only thing that remains valuable at the end of any life
no matter your worldly achievements.
Happiness
is in the moment.
and can not be caught
or put in to a substance
but it will let you invite it
if the circumstances are right
Happiness shared is three times stronger
in the company of others
You might want to organise a little party.....
Power
allows influence.
It comes with great responsiblities few
are willing to assume.
Lasting power comes from respect
Temporary power always comes to an end at great cost to all
that are affected...
